“我有比约翰更大的见证，因为父交给我工作要我去完成。我现在做的这些工作正为我见证：就是父差派了我。

然我所有之證、大於約翰者、蓋父委我以成之事、即我所行者、證我為父所遣也、

然我有證、大於約翰者、蓋父賜我所成之事、即我所行之事、證父遣我也、

然我有證大於約翰者、蓋父所賜我以成之事、即我所行之事、此事證我為父所遣者、

顧為予作證者、有較如望更為重要者焉。蓋父所授予之使命、令予完成、而予今猶慘澹經營者、亦為吾證、證父實曾遣予、

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.

“ What I say about myself is more important than what John says about me. I am doing the works the Father gave me to finish. These works are a witness that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.

But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish— the very works that I do— testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish— the very works that I do— bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.

But I have greater witness than[ that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete– the deeds I am now doing– testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

耶稣回答：“我告诉过你们，你们却不相信。我奉我父的名所行的这些事为我做见证；

如果我没有在他们当中做别人从未做过的事，他们就没有罪；但如今他们虽然看到了，还是恨我和我的父。

他夜里来到耶稣那里，说：“拉比，我们知道你是从神那里来的老师，因为你所行的这些神迹，如果没有神的同在，没有人能做得到。”

耶稣回答他们，说：“你们去把所听见、所看见的告诉约翰，

如果我没有做我父的事，你们就不该相信我；但如果我做了，你们即使不相信我，也该相信这些事。这样，你们就会知道并体会父在我里面，我也在父里面。”

当耶稣在耶路撒冷过逾越节的时候，许多人看见他所行的这些神迹，就信了他的名。

因为神差派他的儿子来到世上，不是为了定世人的罪，而是为了世人藉着他得救。

他回答说：“这就奇怪了！他开了我的眼睛，你们竟然不知道他是从哪里来的！我们知道神是不听罪人的，然而，如果有人敬畏神、遵行他的旨意，神就垂听他。自古以来，没有人听说过谁开了生来就瞎眼之人的眼睛。那个人如果不是从神而来的，他什么也不能做。”

“各位以色列人哪，请听这些话：拿撒勒人耶稣是神向你们所证实的人；神藉着他在你们中间行了大能、神迹和奇事，正如你们自己所知道的。

我完成了你交给我该做的事，因而在地上荣耀了你。

这见证就是：神把永恒的生命赐给了我们，并且这生命在他儿子里面。那有了神儿子的，就有了这生命；那没有神儿子的，就没有这生命。

但是其中有些人说：“这个人既然开了瞎子的眼睛，难道就不能使拉撒路不死吗？”

耶稣对他们说：“我的食物就是遵行那派我来者的旨意，并且完成他的工作。

为我做见证的另有一位，并且我知道，他为我做的见证是有效的。

难道你不相信我就在父里面，父也在我里面吗？我对你们说的话，不是凭自己说的，而是住在我里面的父，在做他的工作。你们当相信我：我在父里面，父也在我里面。即使不信，也当因我所做的事而相信。
