然我所有之證、大於約翰者、蓋父委我以成之事、即我所行者、證我為父所遣也、

然我有證大於約翰者、蓋父所賜我以成之事、即我所行之事、此事證我為父所遣者、

顧為予作證者、有較如望更為重要者焉。蓋父所授予之使命、令予完成、而予今猶慘澹經營者、亦為吾證、證父實曾遣予、

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.

“ What I say about myself is more important than what John says about me. I am doing the works the Father gave me to finish. These works are a witness that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.

But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish— the very works that I do— testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish— the very works that I do— bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me.

But the witness which I have is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.

But I have greater witness than[ that] of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

“ But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete– the deeds I am now doing– testify about me that the Father has sent me.

But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.

耶穌對他們說：“我已經告訴你們，你們卻不相信；我奉我父的名所作的事，可以為我作證。

如果我沒有在他們中間作過別人沒有作過的事，他們就沒有罪；但現在我和我的父，他們都看見了，也都恨惡。

他夜間來到耶穌那裡，對他說：“拉比，我們知道你是從神那裡來的教師，因為如果沒有神同在，你所行的這些神蹟，就沒有人能行。”

耶穌回答他們：“你們回去，把聽見和看見的都告訴約翰，

我若不作我父的事，你們就不必信我；我若作了，你們縱然不信我，也應當信這些事，好使你們確實知道，我父是在我裡面，我也在父裡面。”

耶穌在耶路撒冷過逾越節的時候，許多人看見他所行的神蹟，就信了他的名。

因為神差他的兒子到世上來，不是要定世人的罪，而是要使世人藉著他得救。

那人對他們說：“這就奇怪了，他開了我的眼睛，你們竟然不知道他從哪裡來。我們知道神不聽罪人的祈求，只聽那敬畏神，遵行他旨意的人。自古以來，沒有人聽過生下來就是瞎眼的，有人可以開他們的眼睛。這人若不是從神那裡來的，他就不能作甚麼。”

“以色列人哪，請聽聽這幾句話：正如你們所知道的，神已經藉著拿撒勒人耶穌在你們中間施行了大能、奇事、神蹟，向你們證明他是神所立的。

我在地上已經榮耀了你，你交給我要作的工，我已經完成了。

這見證就是神已經把永遠的生命賜給我們，這生命是在他兒子裡面的。凡有神兒子的，就有生命；沒有神兒子的，就沒有生命。

他們中間有人說：“他既然開了瞎子的眼睛，難道不能使這個人不死嗎？”

耶穌說：“我的食物就是遵行差我來者的旨意，並且完成他的工作。

然而另有一位為我作證的，我知道他為我作的見證是真的。

你不信我是在父裡面，父是在我裡面嗎？我對你們說的話，不是憑著自己說的，而是住在我裡面的父作他自己的事。你們應當信我是在父裡面，父是在我裡面；不然，也要因我所作的而相信。
