So Jesus answered them,“ I tell you the solemn truth, the Son can do nothing on his own initiative, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.

耶穌曰、我誠語汝、子不見父行之、己則無所能行、凡父所行者、子亦如是行之也、

耶穌曰、我誠告爾、子不見父行之、則無所能行、但父所行者、子亦行之、

耶穌謂之曰、我誠告爾、子見父所行之外、由己一無能行、蓋父所行者、子亦行之、

耶穌曰：『予切實語爾、子不能獨有所行、惟見父行者、子亦行之、

Jesus gave them this answer:“ Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Jesus answered,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. The Son can do nothing by himself. He can do only what he sees his Father doing. What the Father does, the Son also does.

So Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.

So Jesus explained,“ I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.

Jesus replied,“ Truly I tell you, the Son is not able to do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son likewise does these things.

Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way.

Then Jesus answered and said to them,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doeth, these the Son also doeth in like manner.

Then Jesus replied,“ I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Jesus therefore answered them,“ Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.

For I have not spoken from my own authority, but the Father himself who sent me has commanded me what I should say and what I should speak.

Then Jesus said,“ When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing on my own initiative, but I speak just what the Father taught me.

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father residing in me performs his miraculous deeds.

“ Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voiceand will come out– the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation.I can do nothing on my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me.

No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down of my own free will. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it back again. This commandment I received from my Father.”

Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.

We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work.

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.

I pray that according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,

Then I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever–the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he resides with you and will be in you.“ I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you.In a little while the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.You will know at that time that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you.The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.”“ Lord,” Judas( not Judas Iscariot) said,“ what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus replied,“ If anyone loves me, he will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and take up residence with him.

For I will give you the words along with the wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.

When I cried out for help, you answered me. You made me bold and energized me.

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies,and the one who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

who will transform these humble bodies of ours into the likeness of his glorious body by means of that power by which he is able to subject all things to himself.

Now if Christ is being preached as raised from the dead, how can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead?

The heavens declare his fairness, for God is judge.( Selah)

they will say about me,“ Yes, the LORD is a powerful deliverer.”’” All who are angry at him will cower before him.

– since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened– so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.

I am able to do all things through the one who strengthens me.

even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ– by grace you are saved!–

Furthermore, I will strike her followers with a deadly disease, and then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. I will repay each one of you what your deeds deserve.

“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming– and is now here– when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,

Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may live a new life.

for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him– all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers– all things were created through him and for him.

Then God said,“ Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth.”

I, the LORD, probe into people’s minds. I examine people’s hearts. I deal with each person according to how he has behaved. I give them what they deserve based on what they have done.

Because Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, to bring you to God, by being put to death in the flesh but by being made alive in the spirit.

This is what the LORD, your protector, says, the one who formed you in the womb:“ I am the LORD, who made everything, who alone stretched out the sky, who fashioned the earth all by myself,

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The LORD said to him,“ Who gave a mouth to man, or who makes a person mute or deaf or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil.

But he said to me,“ My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me.Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.

For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

We do so because we know that the one who raised up Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus and will bring us with you into his presence.

But God raised him up, having released him from the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held in its power.

Jesus replied,“ Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up again.”

being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also we believe that God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep as Christians.

Rely on the LORD! Be strong and confident! Rely on the LORD!
