But the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped out, since there was a crowd in that place.

Then he said to the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out and it was restored, as healthy as the other.

Then some of the residents of Jerusalem began to say,“ Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill?

So the Pharisees went out immediately and began plotting with the Herodians, as to how they could assassinate him.

But they were filled with mindless rage and began debating with one another what they would do to Jesus.

Then they attempted again to seize him, but he escaped their clutches.

Hasn’t Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law! Why do you want to kill me?”The crowd answered,“ You’re possessed by a demon! Who is trying to kill you?”
