所以那些猶太人對那得了痊癒的人說：「今天是安息日，你拿著墊子是不可以的！」

那天是安息日，所以犹太人对那医好的人说：“今天是安息日，你拿褥子是不可的。”

所以犹太人对那被治好了的人说：“今天是安息日，你拿褥子是不合法的。”

所以犹太人对那被治好了的人说：“今天是安息日，你拿褥子是不合法的。”

犹太人便对那人说：“今天是安息日，你不可拿着垫子走路。”

因此犹太人对那医好了的人说：“今天是安息日，你拿着褥子是不可以的。”

所以那些犹太人对那得了痊愈的人说：“今天是安息日，你拿着垫子是不可以的！”

那天是安息日，所以猶太人對那醫好的人說：「今天是安息日，你拿褥子是不可的。」

所以猶太人對那被治好了的人說：「今天是安息日，你拿褥子是不合法的。」

所以猶太人對那被治好了的人說：「今天是安息日，你拿褥子是不合法的。」

猶太人便對那人說：「今天是安息日，你不可拿著墊子走路。」

因此猶太人對那醫好了的人說：“今天是安息日，你拿著褥子是不可以的。”

於是猶太人對那得治好的人說：『今天是安息日，你拿鋪蓋是不可以的。』

是日、乃安息日、猶太人謂病愈者曰、茲乃安息日、爾取榻非宜也、

猶太人謂得愈者曰、今安息日、取床非宜、

猶太人謂病愈者曰、今乃安息日、爾負臥榻非宜也、

猶太人謂痊者曰：『禮日不當負榻。』

and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed,“ It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.”

So the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed,“ It is the Sabbath day. The law does not allow you to carry your mat.”

So the Jews said to the man who had been healed,“ It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.”

so the Jewish leaders objected. They said to the man who was cured,“ You can’t work on the Sabbath! The law doesn’t allow you to carry that sleeping mat!”

and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed,“ This is the Sabbath. The law prohibits you from picking up your mat.”

So the Jews were saying to the man who was cured,“ It is a Sabbath, and it is not permissible for you to carry your pallet.”

The Jews therefore said to him who was cured,“ It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”

So the Jews said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath, and it is not lawful for thee to take up thy bed.

so the Jews said to the man who had been healed,“ This is the Sabbath! It’s illegal for you to pick up your mat.”

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry[ thy] bed.

So the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed,“ It is the Sabbath, and you are not permitted to carry your mat.”

So the Jews said to him who was cured,“ It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry the mat.”

有一些法利賽人說：「你們為什麼做安息日不可以做的事呢？」

法利賽人中的有些人說：「那個人不是從神那裡來的，因為他不守安息日。」有些人卻說：「一個罪人怎麼能行這樣的神蹟呢？」他們之間就產生了分裂。

因為耶穌在安息日使人痊癒，會堂主管就很生氣，對那群人說：「應該做工的日子有六天，所以你們在那些日子來得痊癒吧！但不要在安息日這一天。」

那些猶太人之所以逼迫耶穌，是因為他在安息日做這些事。

有些法利賽人對耶穌說：「你看，他們為什麼做安息日不可以做的事呢？」

耶穌問他們：「在安息日可以行善還是作惡，救命還是害命？」他們卻不做聲。

有些法利賽人看見了，就對耶穌說：「你看，你的門徒們做了在安息日不可以做的事。」耶穌對他們說：「大衛和那些與他在一起的人飢餓時所做的事，你們難道沒有讀過嗎？他不是進了神的殿，和他們吃了陳設餅嗎？這餅是他和那些與他在一起的人不可以吃的，唯有祭司才可以吃。再者，你們難道沒有在律法書上讀過：當安息日，祭司們在聖殿裡觸犯了安息日，也是無罪的嗎？但是我告訴你們：比聖殿更大的就在這裡！你們如果明白『我要的是憐憫，而不是祭祀』這話是什麼意思，就不會把無罪的定為有罪了。因為人子是安息日的主。」

「如果你在安息日克制自己的腳步，在我的聖日不行自己所喜悅的事；如果你稱安息日為可喜樂的，稱耶和華的聖日為可尊重的；如果你尊重這日，不行自己的路，不求自己所喜悅的事，不按自己的意思說話；

既然人在安息日受割禮，是為了不違犯摩西的律法；那麼，因為我在安息日使一個人完全康復，你們就對我生氣嗎？

就回去預備香料和香液。不過在安息日，她們還是按照誡命休息了。
