  • Deuteronomy 16:16
    Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed:
  • Exodus 34:23
    Three times a year all your men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord, the God of Israel.
  • Exodus 23:14-17
    “ Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me.“ Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt.“ No one is to appear before me empty-handed.“ Celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of the crops you sow in your field.“ Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field.“ Three times a year all the men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:2-4
    “ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.“‘ There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the Lord.“‘ These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:

    When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

    Jesus replied,“ Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.
