“ Go,” Jesus replied,“ your son will live.” The man took Jesus at his word and departed.

耶穌對百夫長說：「你回去吧！照你的信心成全你了。」就在那時，他的僮僕好了。

耶穌看見，就對他們說：「你們去，把身體給祭司檢查。」他們正去的時候就潔淨了。

他聽保羅講道；保羅定睛看他，見他有信心，可得痊癒，就大聲說：「起來！兩腳站直。」那人就跳起來，開始行走。

耶穌對他說：「『你若能』，在信的人，凡事都能。」孩子的父親立刻喊着說：「我信；求你幫助我的不信！」

以利亞對她說：「不要怕！你去照你所說的做吧！只要先為我做一個小餅，拿來給我，然後為你和你的兒子做餅；因為耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：『罈內的麵必不用盡，瓶裏的油必不短缺，直到耶和華使雨降在地上的日子。』」婦人就照以利亞的話去做。她和以利亞，以及她家中的人，吃了許多日子。

他認為上帝甚至能使人從死人中復活，意味着他得回了他的兒子。

耶穌對她說：「憑着這句話，你回去吧，鬼已經離開你的女兒了。」她就回家去，見小孩子躺在床上，鬼已經出去了。

仍仰望上帝的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給上帝，且滿心相信上帝所應許的必能成就。

耶穌對她說：「我不是對你說過，你若信就必看見上帝的榮耀嗎？」
