“ Go,” Jesus replied,“ your son will live.” The man took Jesus at his word and departed.

耶穌對百夫長說：「你回去吧！就照你所信的給你成就。」就在那時候，他的僕人便痊癒了。

耶穌看見他們，就說：「去讓祭司察看你們的身體。」他們去的時候，就潔淨了。

他也聽保羅講道。保羅定睛看他，見這個人有信心，可以得醫治，就高聲對他說：「起來，兩腳站直！」那人就跳了起來，開始行走。

耶穌說：「如果你能？對於相信的人，凡事都有可能！」孩子的父親立刻喊著說：「我信！但我信心不足，求你幫助我！」

以利亞說：「不要害怕，你可以照你所說的去做餅，只是你要先做一小塊餅給我，然後再做給你和你兒子。因為以色列的上帝耶和華說，『在耶和華降雨之前，你罈裡的麵和瓶裡的油必不會空。』」那婦人就依照以利亞的話做了。婦人一家和以利亞就這樣吃了許多天，

他認定上帝能使死人復活，從象徵意義上說，他也確實從死亡中得回了以撒。

耶穌說：「因為你這句話，你回去吧，鬼已經離開你的女兒了。」她回到家裡，見女兒躺在床上，鬼已經離開了。

他沒有因不信而懷疑上帝的應許，反倒信心更加堅定，將榮耀歸給上帝。他完全相信上帝必能實現祂的應許。

耶穌說：「我不是跟你說過，只要你信，就會看見上帝的榮耀嗎？」
