有一個會堂主管，名叫葉魯，來俯伏在耶穌腳前，求耶穌到他家裏去，

過了些日子，耶穌又進了迦百農。人聽說他在屋裏，於是許多人聚集，甚至連門前都沒有空地；耶穌就對他們講道。有人帶着一個癱子來見耶穌，是由四個人抬來的；

他聽見是拿撒勒的耶穌，就喊了起來，說：「大衛之子耶穌啊，可憐我吧！」

呂大原與約帕相近；門徒聽見彼得在那裏，就派兩個人去見他，央求他說：「請快到我們那裏去，不要躭延。」
