神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時都可得到的幫助。

那時，有一個人來了，名叫葉魯，他是一位會堂主管。他俯伏在耶穌腳前，求他往他家裡去，

過了些日子，耶穌再回到迦百農。一聽說他在屋子裡，許多人就都來聚集，甚至連門前都沒有地方了，耶穌就對他們講道。那時有人把一個癱子帶到耶穌那裡，是由四個人抬來的。

他聽見是拿撒勒人耶穌，就喊叫，說：“大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧！”

呂大靠近約帕，門徒聽說彼得在那邊，就派兩個人去求他，說：“請到我們那邊去，不要耽延！”

馬利亞來到耶穌那裡，一看見他，就俯伏在他腳前，說：“主啊，如果你早在這裡，我的兄弟就不會死了！”

就跑遍那一帶地方，把有病的人放在褥子上，聽見他在哪裡，就抬到哪裡。耶穌無論到甚麼地方，或村莊，或城市，或鄉野，眾人都把病人放在街上，求耶穌准他們摸他衣服的繸子，摸著的人就都好了。

馬大對耶穌說：“主啊，如果你早在這裡，我的兄弟就不會死了！

耶穌就和他們同去。離那家不遠的時候，百夫長派幾個朋友來說：“主啊，不必勞駕，因為你到舍下來，我實在不敢當，我也覺得沒有資格去見你；只要你說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。因為我自己是在別人的權下，也有兵在我以下；我對這個說：‘去！’他就去；對另一個說：‘來！’他就來；對我的僕人說：‘作這個！’他就作。”
