第三日，在加利利的迦拿有一个婚宴，耶稣的母亲在那里。耶稣和他的门徒也被请去赴宴。酒用完了，耶稣的母亲对他说：“他们没有酒了。”耶稣说：“母亲，我与你何干呢？我的时候还没有到。”他母亲对用人说：“他告诉你们什么，你们就做吧。”照犹太人洁净礼的规矩，有六口石缸摆在那里，每口可以盛两三桶水。耶稣对用人说：“把缸倒满水。”他们就倒满了，直到缸口。耶稣又说：“现在舀出来，送给宴会总管。”他们就送了去。宴会总管尝了那水变的酒，并不知道是哪里来的，只有舀水的用人知道。于是宴会总管叫新郎来，对他说：“人家都是先摆上好酒，等客人喝够了才摆上次的，你倒把好酒留到现在！”这是耶稣所行的第一个神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的，显出了他的荣耀来，他的门徒就信他了。

他杀他们的时候，他们才求问他，回心转意，切切寻求上帝。

并要在患难之日求告我，我必搭救你，你也要荣耀我。”

耶稣说这些话的时候，有一个会堂主管来，向他下跪，说：“我女儿刚死了，求你去按手在她身上，她就会活过来。”

西门‧彼得、叫低土马的多马、加利利的迦拿人拿但业、西庇太的两个儿子，和另外两个门徒，都在一起。

我要去，我要回到原处，等他们自觉有罪，寻求我的面；急难时他们必切切寻求我。

有一个迦南妇人从那地方出来，喊着说：“主啊，大卫之子，可怜我！我女儿被鬼缠得很苦。”

有一个百夫长所器重的仆人害病，快要死了。
