耶穌在耶路撒冷過逾越節的時候，有許多人看見他所行的神蹟，就信了他的名。

「你所有的男丁要在除酵節、七七節、住棚節，一年三次，在耶和華－你上帝所選擇的地方朝見他，不可空手朝見耶和華。

這人夜裏來見耶穌，對他說：「拉比，我們知道你是由上帝那裏來作老師的；因為你所行的神蹟，若沒有上帝同在，無人能行。」

猶太人的逾越節近了，耶穌上耶路撒冷去。他看見聖殿裏有賣牛羊和鴿子的，還有兌換銀錢的人坐着，耶穌就拿繩子做成鞭子，把所有的，包括牛羊都趕出聖殿，倒出兌換銀錢之人的銀錢，推翻他們的桌子，又對賣鴿子的說：「把這些東西拿走！不要把我父的殿當作買賣的地方。」

那裏的人不接待他，因為他面向着耶路撒冷去。

耶穌回來的時候，眾人迎接他，因為他們都等候着他。

當他十二歲的時候，他們按着過節的規矩上去。守滿了節期，他們回去，孩童耶穌仍舊在耶路撒冷。他的父母並不知道，以為他在同行的人中間，走了一天的路程才在親屬和熟悉的人中找他，

耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裏教導人，宣講天國的福音，醫治百姓各樣的疾病。他的名聲傳遍了敘利亞。那裏的人把一切病人，就是有各樣疾病和疼痛的、被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的，都帶了來，耶穌就治好了他們。
