耶稣在耶路撒冷过逾越节期间，许多人看见祂行的神迹，就信了祂。

“你们所有男子要每年三次，即在无酵节、七七收获节和住棚节，在你们的上帝耶和华指定的地方朝见祂。你们不可空手朝见，

一天晚上，他来见耶稣，说：“老师，我们知道你是上帝差来教导人的，因为如果没有上帝的同在，没有人能行你所行的神迹。”

犹太人的逾越节快到了，耶稣便上耶路撒冷去。祂看见圣殿区有人在卖牛羊和鸽子，还有人在兑换银币，就用绳索做成鞭子把牛羊赶出去，倒掉钱商的银币，推翻他们的桌子，又对卖鸽子的说：“把这些东西拿出去！不要把我父的殿当作市场。”

但撒玛利亚人见他们是上耶路撒冷去的，不肯接待他们。

耶稣回到对岸，受到等候在那里的百姓的欢迎。

耶稣十二岁那年，跟父母照例上去过节。节期完了，约瑟和玛丽亚便启程回家，他们并不知道少年耶稣仍然留在耶路撒冷，还以为祂跟在同行的人中间。他们走了一天的路后，才开始在亲戚朋友中找祂，

耶稣走遍加利利，在各个会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，医治人们各样的疾病。祂的名声传遍了整个叙利亚。人们把一切患病的，就是患各种疾病的、疼痛的、癫痫的、瘫痪的，以及被鬼附身的都带到祂面前，祂都医治了他们。
