Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely demon possessed.”But He did not answer her with even a word. And His disciples came up and urged Him, saying,“ Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us!”But He answered and said,“ I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days.

For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcision in behalf of the truth of God, to confirm the promises given to the fathers,

and leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.

Therefore He came again to Cana of Galilee, where He had made the water into wine. And there was a royal official whose son was sick at Capernaum.

He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon the son of John; you shall be called Cephas”( which is translated Peter).
