They said to the woman,“ Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”

They said to the woman,“ We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

and they were saying to the woman,“ It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One truly is the Savior of the world.”

Then they said to the woman,“ Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”

and they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy speaking: for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world.

And they told the woman,“ We no longer believe because of what you said, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this really is the Savior of the world.”

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard[ him] ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

They said to the woman,“ No longer do we believe because of your words, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this one really is the Savior of the world.”

The next day, he saw Jesus coming to him, and said,“ Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

“ Come, see a man who told me everything that I did. Can this be the Christ?”

For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have set our trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.

She shall give birth to a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel.”

The angel said to them,“ Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Philip found Nathanael, and said to him,“ We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”Nathanael said to him,“ Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him,“ Come and see.”Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said about him,“ Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!”Nathanael said to him,“ How do you know me?” Jesus answered him,“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”Nathanael answered him,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!”

Simon Peter answered him,“ Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.Many of them therefore believed; also of the prominent Greek women, and not a few men.

“ Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

Yahweh has made his holy arm bare in the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

So when Jesus came, he found that he had been in the tomb four days already.

for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.

For the Scripture says,“ Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.For,“ Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
