They said to the woman,“ We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard[ him] ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

They said to the woman,“ No longer do we believe because of your words, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this one really is the Savior of the world.”

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,“ Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

“ Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”

For this reason we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.”

That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law( and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Nathanael asked him.“ Come and see,” Philip answered.Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said about him,“ Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”“ How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you,” Jesus answered.“ Rabbi,” Nathanael replied,“ You are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel!”

Simon Peter answered,“ Lord, to whom will we go? You have the words of eternal life.We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”

The people here were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, since they received the word with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.Consequently, many of them believed, including a number of the prominent Greek women as well as men.

Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is no other.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true one. We are in the true one— that is, in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days.

because I have given them the words you gave me. They have received them and have known for certain that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.

For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes on him will not be put to shame,since there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord of all richly blesses all who call on him.For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
