Now he had to go through Samaria.

Now on the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing along between Samaria and Galilee.

Now when the days drew near for him to be taken up, Jesus set out resolutely to go to Jerusalem.He sent messengers on ahead of him. As they went along, they entered a Samaritan village to make things ready in advance for him,

Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows:“ Do not go to Gentile regions and do not enter any Samaritan town.Go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

But he replied,“ Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?”
