While traveling to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee.

When the days were coming to a close for him to be taken up, he determined to journey to Jerusalem.He sent messengers ahead of himself, and on the way they entered a village of the Samaritans to make preparations for him.

Jesus sent out these twelve after giving them instructions:“ Don’t take the road that leads to the Gentiles, and don’t enter any Samaritan town.Instead, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

“ Why were you searching for me?” he asked them.“ Didn’t you know that it was necessary for me to be in my Father’s house?”
