Then his disciples said to each other,“ Could someone have brought him food?”

门徒就彼此对问说：“莫非有人拿什么给他吃吗？”

门徒就彼此说：“难道有人拿什么给他吃了吗？”

门徒就彼此说：“难道有人拿什么给他吃了吗？”

门徒彼此议论说：“难道有人给祂吃的了？”

门徒就彼此说：“难道有人拿东西给他吃了吗？”

门徒彼此问：“难道有人拿东西来给他吃了吗？”

門徒就彼此對問說：「莫非有人拿甚麼給他吃嗎？」

門徒就彼此說：「難道有人拿甚麼給他吃了嗎？」

門徒就彼此說：「難道有人拿甚麼給他吃了嗎？」

門徒彼此議論說：「難道有人給祂吃的了？」

門徒就彼此說：“難道有人拿東西給他吃了嗎？”

於是門徒彼此說：『莫非有人拿來給他喫？』

門徒彼此問：「難道有人拿東西來給他吃了嗎？」

門徒相語曰、有供其食者乎、

門徒相語曰、豈有供之者乎、

門徒相語曰、有人供其食乎、

耶穌曰：『遵行遣予者之旨、而完成其工作、是吾食也。

Then his disciples asked each other,“ Did someone bring him food?”

So the disciples said to one another,“ Has anyone brought him something to eat?”

“ Did someone bring him food while we were gone?” the disciples asked each other.

The disciples said to one another,“ Could someone have brought him something to eat?”

So the disciples were saying to one another,“ No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?”

Therefore the disciples said to one another,“ Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?”

The disciples therefore said one to another, Hath any man brought him aught to eat?

The disciples said to one another,“ Could someone have brought Him something to eat?”

Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him[ ought] to eat?

So the disciples began to say to one another,“ No one brought him anything to eat, did they?”

The disciples therefore said to one another,“ Has anyone brought him something to eat?”

But they did not understand what this meant. It was hidden from them, so that they did not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

“ Be careful,” Jesus said to them.“ Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”They discussed this among themselves and said,“ It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked,“ You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
