Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Therefore the Lord said:“ Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,

This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

“ Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord!

Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself,‘ God, I thank You that I am not like other men— extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me a sinner!’

And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense,” says the Lord.

Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out,“ Abba, Father.”

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You.With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Hear a just cause, O Lord, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

“ Hear this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel, And have come forth from the wellsprings of Judah; Who swear by the name of the Lord, And make mention of the God of Israel, But not in truth or in righteousness;For they call themselves after the holy city, And lean on the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is His name:

And it shall come to pass in that day That the remnant of Israel, And such as have escaped of the house of Jacob, Will never again depend on him who defeated them, But will depend on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.

“ O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.”

And you shall swear,‘ The Lord lives,’ In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; The nations shall bless themselves in Him, And in Him they shall glory.”

I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.

then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.“ Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit.Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know,and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say,‘ We are delivered to do all these abominations’?Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the Lord.“ But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I set My name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.

Hear the word of the Lord, You rulers of Sodom; Give ear to the law of our God, You people of Gomorrah:“ To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?” Says the Lord.“ I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, Or of lambs or goats.“ When you come to appear before Me, Who has required this from your hand, To trample My courts?Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting.Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.

Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say,‘ Here I am.’“ If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday.The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.“ If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the Lord honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words,Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
