所以，當丈夫還活著的時候，如果她歸屬別的男人，就稱為淫婦；丈夫若死了，她就脫離了律法的約束，如果她歸屬別的男人，也不是淫婦。

人人都應該尊重婚姻，婚床也不要玷污，因為神一定審判淫亂的和姦淫的人。

如果妻子棄夫另嫁，也是犯了姦淫。”

我也娶了（“娶了”原文作“買了”）瑪倫的妻子摩押女子路得作妻子，使已死的人的名字留在他的產業上，免得他的名字在本族本鄉中除掉。今天你們都是見證人。”

以色列家啊！妻子怎樣行奸詐對丈夫不忠，你也照樣以奸詐待我。’”這是耶和華的宣告。

我要吩咐已婚的人（其實不是我，而是主吩咐的），妻子不可離開丈夫。如果離開了，就不可再嫁，不然，就要跟丈夫復合。丈夫也不可離棄妻子。

“這是關於疑忌的律例：妻子在自己丈夫的權下，如果背離丈夫，被人玷污了；

你這淫亂的妻子啊！你竟接外人而不接自己的丈夫。
