He told her,“ Go, call your husband and come back.”

“ Go and get your husband,” Jesus told her.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and* said of him,“ Here is truly an Israelite, in whom there is no deceit!”Nathanael* said to Him,“ How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him,“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer.

But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, because He knew all people,and because He did not need anyone to testify about mankind, for He Himself knew what was in mankind.

He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon the son of John; you shall be called Cephas”( which is translated Peter).

He* said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because He said to him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” And he said to Him,“ Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus* said to him,“ Tend My sheep.

And I will kill her children with plague, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
