He told her,“ Go, call your husband and come back.”

“ Go and get your husband,” Jesus told her.

“ Go call your husband,” he told her,“ and come back here.”

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him,“ Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”Nathanael said to him,“ How do you know me?” Jesus answered him,“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all peopleand needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man.

He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas”( which means Peter).

He said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time,“ Do you love me?” and he said to him,“ Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed my sheep.

and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works.
