惟飲我所予之水者、永不渴、蓋我所予之水、將於其中為泉、湧至永生、

飲我所予之水者、永不渴、我所予之水、必在其中成源、湧至永生、

婦曰：『先生盍以此水見賜、令我不復渴、亦無庸頻來汲水。』

He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.

Jesus said to them,“ I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them. He will guide them by springs of water.

In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation— in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun won’t beat on them, nor any heat;

This is the bread which came down out of heaven— not as our fathers ate the manna, and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him.This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever:the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him and doesn’t know him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.

Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently,

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
