信我的人，就像圣经所说的，从他的腹中要涌流出活水的江河来。”他这话是指着信他的人要接受圣灵说的；那时圣灵还没有降临，因为耶稣还没有得着荣耀。

耶稣说：“我就是生命的食物，到我这里来的，必定不饿；信我的，永远不渴。

他们必不饥饿，也不口渴，炎热和太阳必不伤害他们，因为那怜悯他们的，要引领他们，带领他们到水泉的旁边。

你们既然听了真理的道，就是使你们得救的福音，也信了基督，就在他里面受了所应许的圣灵作为印记。这圣灵是我们得基业的凭据，直到神的产业得赎，使他的荣耀得着颂赞。

他们必不再饿，也不再渴；太阳和一切炎热必不伤害他们。

这就是从天上降下来的食物，不像吗哪，你们的祖宗吃过，还是死了；吃这食物的，必活到永远。”

他在我们身上盖了印，就是赐圣灵在我们心里作凭据。

所有活着又信我的人，必定永远不死，你信这话吗？”

我们知道神的儿子已经来了，并且赐给我们悟性，使我们能认识那位真实者。我们也在那位真实者里面，就是在他儿子耶稣基督里面。这一位就是真神，也是永远的生命。

因为罪的工价就是死，但神的恩赏，在我们的主基督耶稣里，却是永生。

不可让神的圣灵忧伤，因为你们受了他的印记，等候得赎的日子。

贼来了，不过是要偷窃、杀害、毁坏；我来了，是要使羊得生命，并且得的更丰盛。

罪藉着死掌权；照样，恩典也藉着义掌权，使人藉着我们的主耶稣基督进入永生。

正如你把管理全人类的权柄给了他，使他赐永生给你所赐给他的人。认识你是独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督，这就是永生。

我要请求父，他就会赐给你们另一位保惠师，使他跟你们永远在一起。这保惠师就是真理的灵，世人不能接受他，因为看不见他，也不认识他。你们却认识他，因为他跟你们住在一起，也要在你们里面。我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我要回到你们这里来。不久以后，世人不再看见我，你们却要看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。

圣灵亲自和我们的灵一同证明我们是神的儿女。既然是儿女，就是后嗣；是神的后嗣，也和基督一同作后嗣。我们既然和他一同受苦，就必和他一同得荣耀。

你们既因顺从真理，洁净了自己的心灵，以致能真诚地爱弟兄，就应当从清洁的心里彼此切实相爱。

他们要进入永远的刑罚，义人却要进入永生。”
