婦曰：『先生盍以此水見賜、令我不復渴、亦無庸頻來汲水。』

正如圣经所言，信我的人，‘从他里面要流出活水的江河来’。”耶稣这话是指信祂的人要得到圣灵，但当时圣灵还没有降临，因为耶稣还没有得到荣耀。

耶稣说：“我就是生命的粮，到我这里来的人必定不饿，信我的人必永远不渴。

他们不再饥渴，也不再被热风和烈日灼伤，因为怜悯他们的那位必引导他们，领他们到泉水边。

你们听过真理之道，就是那使你们得救的福音，而且也信了基督。你们既然信祂，就领受了上帝应许赐下的圣灵为印记。圣灵是我们领受产业的担保，直到上帝的子民得到救赎，使祂的荣耀受到颂赞。

他们不会再受饥饿和干渴的折磨，也不会再受太阳和酷热的煎熬，

我是从天上降下来的真粮，吃这粮的人必永远活着，不像你们的祖先，虽然吃过吗哪，最后还是死了。”

在我们身上盖了祂自己的印记，并让圣灵住在我们心中作担保。

凡活着信我的人必永远不死。你相信吗？”

我们知道上帝的儿子已经来了，并且赐给了我们悟性，使我们能认识真神。我们在真神里面，就是在祂儿子耶稣基督里面。祂是真神，也是永生。

因为罪的代价就是死亡，而上帝借着主基督耶稣赐下的礼物则是永生。

不要让上帝的圣灵担忧，你们已经盖上了圣灵的印记，将来必蒙救赎。

盗贼来，无非是要偷窃、杀害、毁坏。但我来是要羊得生命，并且得到丰盛的生命。

罪怎样掌权带来死亡，恩典也照样借着义掌权，为要借着我们主耶稣基督带来永生。

因为你把管理世人的权柄赐给了祂，使祂可以将永生赐予你交托给祂的人。这永生就是，认识你——独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督。

我要求父另外赐一位护慰者给你们，祂要永远和你们同在。祂是真理的灵，世人不接受祂，因为他们看不见祂，也不认识祂；但你们却认识祂，因祂常与你们同在，并且要住在你们里面。我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。不久，世人就看不见我了，而你们却能看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。

圣灵亲自与我们的心一同见证我们是上帝的儿女。既然我们是儿女，就是继承人，是上帝的后嗣，并且与基督同做后嗣。所以，如果现在我们和基督一同受苦，将来也必和祂一同得荣耀。

你们既因顺服真理，洁净了自己的心，能够真诚地爱弟兄姊妹，就当以清洁的心彼此切实相爱。

这些人要受永远的刑罚，但义人要得到永远的生命。”
