婦曰：『先生盍以此水見賜、令我不復渴、亦無庸頻來汲水。』

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water.But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive: for the Spirit was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water will he guide them.

in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,— in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of God’s own possession, unto the praise of his glory.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun strike upon them, nor any heat:

This is the bread which came down out of heaven: not as the fathers ate, and died; he that eateth this bread shall live for ever.

who also sealed us, and gave us the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

and whosoever liveth and believeth on me shall never die. Believest thou this?

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption.

The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

that, as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom thou hast given him, he should give eternal life.And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.Yet a little while, and the world beholdeth me no more; but ye behold me: because I live, ye shall live also.

The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint- heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:

And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.
