Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Then he said to me,“ Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”

who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

He said,“ God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, though he doesn’t know how.For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?You whose clothing is warm, when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?

“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater;so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.Instead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up; and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up. It will make a name for Yahweh, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”

By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen.Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.It is turned around by his guidance, that they may do whatever he commands them on the surface of the habitable world,Whether it is for correction, or for his land, or for loving kindness, that he causes it to come.

If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.

He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.

Now men don’t see the light which is bright in the skies, but the wind passes, and clears them.Out of the north comes golden splendor. With God is awesome majesty.We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.

For there is no good tree that produces rotten fruit; nor again a rotten tree that produces good fruit.For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people don’t gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
