And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?How thy garments[ are] warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south[ wind]?

For[ as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper[ in the thing] whereto I sent it.For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap[ their] hands.Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign[ that] shall not be cut off.

By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

And now[ men] see not the bright light which[ is] in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God[ is] terrible majesty.[ Touching] the Almighty, we cannot find him out:[ he is] excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
