For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting.

Then he said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”

who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge,you whose garments are hot when the earth is still because of the south wind?

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.“ For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.“ For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

By the breath of God ice is given, and the broad waters are frozen fast.He loads the thick cloud with moisture; the clouds scatter his lightning.They turn around and around by his guidance, to accomplish all that he commands them on the face of the habitable world.Whether for correction or for his land or for love, he causes it to happen.

If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea.

He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.

“ And now no one looks on the light when it is bright in the skies, when the wind has passed and cleared them.Out of the north comes golden splendor; God is clothed with awesome majesty.The Almighty— we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate.

“ For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit,for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.
