The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

占風者不播種、瞻雲者不刈穫、風之由來、孕婦之胎、其骨如何而長、爾既不知、則成萬事之上帝、其所經營、爾亦不知也、

夫人之情、非在其內之靈、誰知之乎、如是、上帝之情、非上帝之神亦無知之者、

忽有聲自天如烈風衝突、充乎所坐之室、

又諭我曰、人子歟、其對風預言曰、主耶和華云、氣乎、來自四方、噓於斯被殺者、使之得生、

其生也、非由血氣、非由情欲、非由人意、乃由上帝也、

又曰、上帝國猶人播種於地、夜寐夙興、種發且長、彼不知其所以然、夫地自生物、始而苗、繼而穗、後則成穀、既熟、則用鐮、以穫時至矣、○

祈畢、會集之所震動、眾充於聖神、毅然言上帝之道、○

雲之平鋪、全智者之奇妙、爾悉之乎、南風既起、全地寂靜、爾衣溫煖、爾明之乎、

我之途高於爾之途、我之念高於爾之念、如天高於地焉、譬諸雨雪、自天而降、不返於上、潤澤土壤、使之萌芽結實、以種與播者、以糧與食者、我口出言亦若是、不徒返於我、必成我所悅、於我所命、必利達焉、爾將欣然而出、安然而蒙引導、山岡揚聲、謳歌爾前、田野林木、皆將鼓掌、松柏挺生、以代荊棘、岡拈秀發、以代蒺藜、是為耶和華名之徵、永為記誌、終不滅絕、

上帝噓氣成冰、巨川凝結、使密雲涵蒸氣、散布蘊電之雲、依其引導、旋轉往還、運行於全地、悉遵厥命、或以之潤土壤、或以為懲、或以為惠、

爾若知彼為義、則知凡行義者、由之而生也、

此皆一神所行、隨其所欲而頒予之、○

發命令、起狂風、波浪翻騰兮、

息其狂風、平其波浪兮、

風過天清、日光炳耀、人莫能注視之、金光見於北方、上帝有威可畏、若夫全能者、我儕莫能測之、其力卓越、其義充足、不行殘虐、

未有善樹結惡果者、亦未有惡樹結善果者、蓋凡樹以其果而識之、荊棘中不摘無花果、蒺藜中不採葡萄也、
