觀察風的，不播種；察看雲的，不收割；風有怎樣的道路，骨頭怎樣在孕婦的腹胎中形成，你都不明白；照樣，造萬物之神的作為，你也不明白。

除了人裡面的靈，到底誰知道人的事呢？照樣，除了神的靈，也沒有人知道神的事。

突然，有響聲從天上下來，好像狂風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的整個房子，

他們不是由血緣、或肉體的意願、或人的意志所生的，而是由神所生的。

耶穌又說：「神的國就像這樣：有人在地上撒了種子，黑夜白晝，或睡或起，他卻不知道那種子怎樣發芽和長大。大地自然長出五穀——先長苗，再吐穗，然後穗上結出飽滿的子粒。當果實成熟的時候，他立刻伸出鐮刀，因為收割的季節到了。」

他們禱告完了，聚集的地方就被震動，大家都被聖靈充滿，就坦然無懼地傳講神的話語。

天怎樣高過地，照樣，我的道路高過你們的道路，我的意念高過你們的意念。雨雪怎樣從天而降，不徒然返回原處，卻滋潤大地，使地上發芽結實，讓播種的有種子，吃食的有糧食；照樣，從我口中發出的話語也不徒然返回於我，卻要成就我的意願，在我派遣它去做的事上成功。「你們將歡歡喜喜地出來，平平安安地蒙引領；群山和岡陵必在你們面前放聲歡呼，田野裡所有的樹木也都拍掌。必有松樹長出代替荊棘，必有桃金娘長出代替蒺藜——這要為耶和華揚名，作為永不剪除的標記。」

你們如果知道他是公義的，也就知道所有行義的人，都是由他所生的。

然而，這一切都是這同一位聖靈，就是獨一的聖靈所運作的；他照著自己的旨意，個別地分給每個人。

他一吩咐，暴風就興起，揚起海洋的波濤。

他使狂風止息，歸於靜寂，海洋的波濤也平靜了。

「好樹不結壞果子，壞樹也不結好果子。這樣，每一棵樹都是憑著它的果子被認出來。人不從蒺藜中收無花果，也不從荊棘上摘葡萄。
