Do not marvel that I said to you,‘ You must be born again.’

You should not be surprised at my saying,‘ You must be born again.’

Do not marvel that I said to you,‘ You must be born again.’

Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born anew.

Don’t marvel that I said to you,‘ You must be born anew.’

Jesus answered and said to him,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Another parable He spoke to them:“ The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them,that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:“ I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?As He says also in Hosea:“ I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved.”

“ What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous?

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them,“ Does this offend you?What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,because it is written,“ Be holy, for I am holy.”

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.As it is written:“ There is none righteous, no, not one;There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God.They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”“ Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;“ The poison of asps is under their lips”;“ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”“ Their feet are swift to shed blood;Destruction and misery are in their ways;And the way of peace they have not known.”“ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
