“ I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.

For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,

“ Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
