and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” (niv)

Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; (niv)

And a voice from heaven said,“ This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (niv)

For he“ has put everything under his feet.” Now when it says that“ everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. (niv)

“ Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations. (niv)

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. (niv)

When all Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then Pharaoh told all the Egyptians,“ Go to Joseph and do what he tells you.” (niv)

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.
