Anyone who accepts his testimony can affirm that God is true.

Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.

Anyone who has accepted it has said,‘ Yes. God is truthful.’

Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true.

The one who has accepted his testimony has affirmed that God is true.

And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.

This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives.This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God— who does not lie— promised them before the world began.

God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind.

Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping— believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him,“ That’s how many descendants you will have!”And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead— and so was Sarah’s womb.Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful?Of course not! Even if everyone else is a liar, God is true. As the Scriptures say about him,“ You will be proved right in what you say, and you will win your case in court.”

But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.”

and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us.

As surely as God is faithful, our word to you does not waver between“ Yes” and“ No.”

“ Wait!
