Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.

Anyone who has accepted it has said,‘ Yes. God is truthful.’

Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true.

Anyone who accepts his testimony can affirm that God is true.

And when you heard the word of truth( the gospel of your salvation)– when you believed in Christ– you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit,

From Paul, a slave of God and apostle of Jesus Christ, to further the faith of God’s chosen ones and the knowledge of the truth that is in keeping with godliness,in hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the ages began.

What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written:“ so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.”

who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment.

But as God is faithful, our message to you is not“ Yes” and“ No.”

“ Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”Now I heard the number of those who were marked with the seal, one hundred and forty- four thousand, sealed from all the tribes of the people of Israel:From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand,from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand,from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand,from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed.
