耶穌上前來，對他們說：“天上地上一切權柄都賜給我了。

因此神把他升為至高，並且賜給他超過萬名之上的名。使天上、地上和地底下的一切，因著耶穌的名，都要屈膝，並且口裡承認耶穌基督為主，使榮耀歸給父神。

父自己愛你們，因為你們已經愛我，並且信我是從神那裡來的。我從父那裡來，到了這世界；我又離開這世界，到父那裡去。”

這力量運行在基督身上，使他從死人中復活，並且在天上坐在自己的右邊，遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、作主的，和今生來世所能舉出的一切名銜。

在他的衣服和大腿上，寫著“萬王之王，萬主之主”的名號。

我對你們講地上的事，你們尚且不信，如果講天上的事，怎能相信呢？除了那從天上降下來的人子（有些抄本作“除了那從天上降下來仍舊在天上的人子”），沒有人升過天。

他是在我以後來的，我就是給他解鞋帶也不配。”

神藉著耶穌基督（他是萬有的主）傳和平的福音，把這道傳給以色列人。

前約也有它敬拜的規例，和屬世界的聖所。

我就是從天上降下來生命的食物，人若吃了這食物，就必活到永遠。我要賜的食物就是我的肉，是為了世人的生命而賜的。”

約翰為他作見證，大聲說：“這一位就是我所說的：‘那在我以後來的，位分比我高，因為他本來是在我以前的。’”

所以他說：“他升上高天的時候，擄了許多俘虜，把賞賜給了人。”（“他升上”這句話是甚麼意思呢？他不是也曾降到地上嗎？那降下的，就是那升到諸天之上的，為了要使他充滿萬有。）

父怎樣叫死人復活，使他們得生命，子也照樣隨自己的意思使人得生命。父不審判人，卻已經把審判的權柄完全交給子，使所有的人尊敬子好像尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬那差他來的父。我實實在在告訴你們，那聽見我的話又信那差我來的，就有永生，不被定罪，而是已經出死入生了。我實實在在告訴你們，時候將到，現在就是了，死人要聽見神兒子的聲音，聽見的人就要活了。

基督已進到天上，在神右邊，眾天使、有權勢的、有能力的，都服從了他。

這第一進會幕是現今的時代的預表，其實所獻的禮物和祭品，都不能使敬拜的人在良心上得到完全。這些只是關於飲食和各樣潔淨的禮儀，是在“更新的時候”來到之前，為肉體立的規例。

第一個人是出於地，是屬土的；第二個人是出於天。那屬土的怎樣，所有屬土的也都怎樣；屬天的怎樣，所有屬天的也都怎樣。
