And they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified— behold, He is baptizing and all the people are coming to Him.”

于是门徒来见约翰，说：“老师，你看，以前在约旦河对岸和你在一起、你为祂做见证的那位在给人施洗，众人都去祂那里了！”

他们来到约翰那里，对他说：“拉比，你看，从前和你在约旦河东，你为他作见证的那一位，他也在施洗，众人都到他那里去了。”

他们就到约翰那里，对他说：“拉比，你看，以前与你在约旦河对岸的，就是你所见证的那一位，他也在施洗，而且大家都到他那里去了。”

就來見約翰，說：「拉比，從前同你在約旦河外、你所見證的那位，現在施洗，眾人都往他那裏去了。」

因共謁如望曰：『夫子曩在約但河外、所為作證者、今亦授洗、人盡趨之。』

They came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan— the one you testified about— look, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him.”

They came to John and here is what they said to him.“ Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River is baptizing people. He is the one you told us about. Everyone is going to him.”

And they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you bore witness— look, he is baptizing, and all are going to him.”

So John’s disciples came to him and said,“ Rabbi, the man you met on the other side of the Jordan River, the one you identified as the Messiah, is also baptizing people. And everybody is going to him instead of coming to us.”

So they came to John and told him,“ Rabbi, the one you testified about, and who was with you across the Jordan, is baptizing— and everyone is going to him.”

And they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified— behold, He is baptizing, and all are coming to Him!”

And they came unto John, and said to him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou hast borne witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

So they came to John and told him,“ Rabbi, the One you testified about, and who was with you across the Jordan, is baptizing— and everyone is flocking to Him.”

And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all[ men] come to him.

So they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, the one who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River, about whom you testified– see, he is baptizing, and everyone is flocking to him!”

They came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, he baptizes, and everyone is coming to him.”

He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you are not accomplishing anything; look, the world has gone after Him!”

I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth.This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like ordinary people?For when one person says,“ I am with Paul,” and another,“ I am with Apollos,” are you not ordinary people?What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one.

I have seen that every labor and every skill which is done is the result of rivalry between a person and his neighbor. This too is futility and striving after wind.

You see and hear that not only in Ephesus, but in almost all of Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away a considerable number of people, saying that gods made by hands are not gods at all.Not only is there danger that this trade of ours will fall into disrepute, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be regarded as worthless, and that she whom all of Asia and the world worship will even be dethroned from her magnificence.”

John* testified about Him and called out, saying,“ This was He of whom I said,‘ He who is coming after me has proved to be my superior, because He existed before me.’ ”

Or do you think that the Scripture says to no purpose,“ He jealously desires the Spirit whom He has made to dwell in us”?But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says,“ God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

John answered them, saying,“ I baptize in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know.It is He who comes after me, of whom I am not worthy even to untie the strap of His sandal.”These things took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing people.The next day he* saw Jesus coming to him, and* said,“ Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!This is He in behalf of whom I said,‘ After me is coming a Man who has proved to be my superior, because He existed before me.’And I did not recognize Him, but so that He would be revealed to Israel, I came baptizing in water.”And John testified, saying,“ I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me,‘ He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’And I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples,and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and* said,“ Behold, the Lamb of God!”

If we let Him go on like this, all the people will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take over both our place and our nation.”

You who hear prayer, To You all mankind comes.

idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions,envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But two men had remained in the camp; the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other, Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them( and they were among those who had been registered, but had not gone out to the tent), and they prophesied in the camp.So a young man ran and informed Moses, and said,“ Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”Then Joshua the son of Nun, the personal servant of Moses from his youth, responded and said,“ My lord Moses, restrain them!”But Moses said to him,“ Are you jealous for my sake? If only all the Lord’s people were prophets, that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!”

This was the true Light that, coming into the world, enlightens every person.

this man came to Jesus at night and said to Him,“ Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

All who want to make a good showing in the flesh try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they want to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.
