事实上，所有作恶的人，都憎恨光，不来到光那里，免得自己的行为被揭露出来；

蓋行為不正者、必惡真光、而莫敢與之近、惟恐其行為之見燭也。

They do not recognize its ways or stay on its paths.The murderer rises at dawn to kill the poor and needy, and by night he becomes a thief.The adulterer’s eye watches for twilight, thinking,“ No eye will see me,” and he covers his face.In the dark they break into houses; by day they lock themselves in, never experiencing the light.For the morning is like darkness to them. Surely they are familiar with the terrors of darkness!

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

They hate the one who convicts the guilty at the city gate, and they despise the one who speaks with integrity.Therefore, because you trample on the poor and exact a grain tax from him, you will never live in the houses of cut stone you have built; you will never drink the wine from the lush vineyards you have planted.

You hate instruction and fling my words behind you.

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man who can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him because he never prophesies good about me, but only disaster. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.”“ The king shouldn’t say that!” Jehoshaphat replied.

and you will say,“ How I hated discipline, and how my heart despised correction.

A mocker doesn’t love one who corrects him; he will not consult the wise.
