人有上帝的儿子，就有这生命；没有上帝的儿子，就没有这生命。

我们既然因信而被称为义人，就借着我们的主耶稣基督与上帝和好了。

谁能定他们有罪呢？基督耶稣已经替他们死了，而且祂还从死里复活了，如今在上帝的右边替我们祈祷。

你们必须谨慎，切勿拒绝对你们说话的上帝。因为以色列人违背了在地上警戒他们的人，尚且逃脱不了惩罚，何况我们违背从天上警戒我们的上帝呢？

从来没有人见过上帝，只有父怀中的独一上帝把祂显明出来。

而记载这些事的目的是为了使你们相信耶稣就是基督，是上帝的儿子，并且使你们这些信祂的人可以靠祂的名得到生命。

因为我父的旨意是要叫一切看见儿子并相信的人得到永生，在末日，我要叫他们复活。”

我们若忽略了这么大的救恩，怎能逃避惩罚呢？这救恩首先由主亲口宣讲出来，后来由听见的人向我们证实了。

信子的人有永生；不信子的人得不到永生，上帝的烈怒常在他身上。”
