Now this,“ He ascended”, what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.

Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

They said,“ Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does he say,‘ I have come down out of heaven?’”

So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.”

It is not in heaven, that you should say,“ Who will go up for us to heaven, bring it to us, and proclaim it to us, that we may do it?”

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. He has seen the Father.

I came from the Father, and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.”His disciples said to him,“ Behold, now you are speaking plainly, and using no figures of speech.Now we know that you know all things, and don’t need for anyone to question you. By this we believe that you came from God.”

Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.

Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed.

which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Therefore Jesus said to them,“ If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me.

I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
