But the righteousness that is by faith says:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down)

No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.

For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says,‘ The Lord said to my lord,“ Sit at my right hand

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

Because Jesus knew that the Father had handed all things over to him, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,

Now what is the meaning of“ he ascended,” except that he also descended to the lower regions, namely, the earth?He, the very one who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

Then what if you see the Son of Man ascending where he was before?

The one who comes from above is superior to all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from heaven is superior to all.

and they said,“ Isn’t this Jesus the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say,‘ I have come down from heaven’?”

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]

For the bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

It is not in heaven, as though one must say,“ Who will go up to heaven to get it for us and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

( Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God– he has seen the Father.)

I came from the Father and entered into the world, but in turn, I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”His disciples said,“ Look, now you are speaking plainly and not in obscure figures of speech!Now we know that you know everything and do not need anyone to ask you anything. Because of this we believe that you have come from God.”

Watch out for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son.

And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created.

Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Jesus replied,“ If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. I have not come on my own initiative, but he sent me.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
