And they were saying,“ Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say,‘ I have come down out of heaven’?”

So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]][[ And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself also sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.]]

For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

It is not in heaven, that you could say,‘ Who will go up to heaven for us and get it for us, and proclaim it to us, so that we may follow it?’

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.

I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.”His disciples* said,“ See, now You are speaking plainly and are not using any figure of speech.Now we know that You know all things, and that You have no need for anyone to question You; this is why we believe that You came forth from God.”

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth from God and am here; for I have not even come on My own, but He sent Me.

I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh.”

teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
