If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

我对你们说地上的事，你们尚且不信，若说天上的事，如何能信呢？

我言屬地者、爾尚弗信、若言屬天者、爾詎信乎、

我言地、爾既弗信、況言天、爾豈能信乎、

我言屬地之事、爾尚不信、若言屬天之事、何能信乎、

吾語汝以地上之事、汝猶未信、若語汝以天上之事、又如何能信。

I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

I have spoken to you about earthly things, and you do not believe. So how will you believe if I speak about heavenly things?

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

If I have told you about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

If I told you earthly things and ye believe not, how shall ye believe if I tell you heavenly things?

If I have told you about things that happen on earth and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about things of heaven?

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you[ of] heavenly things?

If I have told you people about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

If I told you earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

And I, brothers and sisters, could not speak to you as spiritual people, but only as fleshly, as to infants in Christ.I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to consume it. But even now you are not yet able,

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,and like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

Concerning him we have much to say, and it is difficult to explain, since you have become poor listeners.

but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory;the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;but just as it is written:“ Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

No one has ascended into heaven, except He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,so that everyone who believes will have eternal life in Him.“ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.”

“ He who comes from above is above all; the one who is only from the earth is of the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.What He has seen and heard, of this He testifies; and no one accepts His testimony.The one who has accepted His testimony has certified that God is true.For He whom God sent speaks the words of God; for He does not give the Spirit sparingly.The Father loves the Son and has entrusted all things to His hand.The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

Jesus responded and said to him,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus answered,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God.All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.In Him was life, and the life was the Light of mankind.And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it.A man came, one sent from God, and his name was John.He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.This was the true Light that, coming into the world, enlightens every person.He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, and yet the world did not know Him.He came to His own, and His own people did not accept Him.But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name,who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of a man, but of God.And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
