If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you[ of] heavenly things?

我言屬地者、爾尚弗信、若言屬天者、爾詎信乎、

我言地、爾既弗信、況言天、爾豈能信乎、

我言屬地之事、爾尚不信、若言屬天之事、何能信乎、

吾語汝以地上之事、汝猶未信、若語汝以天上之事、又如何能信。

I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

I have spoken to you about earthly things, and you do not believe. So how will you believe if I speak about heavenly things?

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

But if you don’t believe me when I tell you about earthly things, how can you possibly believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

If I have told you about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

If I told you earthly things and ye believe not, how shall ye believe if I tell you heavenly things?

If I have told you about things that happen on earth and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about things of heaven?

If I have told you people about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

If I told you earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal,[ even] as unto babes in Christ.I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able[ to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:If so be ye have tasted that the Lord[ is] gracious.

Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery,[ even] the hidden[ wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known[ it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven,[ even] the Son of man which is in heaven.And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure[ unto him].The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and[ of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son[ to be] the propitiation for our sins.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God.All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.In him was life; and the life was the light of men.And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.There was a man sent from God, whose name[ was] John.The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all[ men] through him might believe.He was not that Light, but[ was sent] to bear witness of that Light.[ That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.He came unto his own, and his own received him not.But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,[ even] to them that believe on his name:Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
