I tell you the solemn truth, we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.

我切實語爾、吾人所知、吾人言之；吾人所見、吾人證之；而爾曹獨不納吾證。

Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

What I’m about to tell you is true. We speak about what we know. We are witnesses about what we have seen. But still you people do not accept what we say.

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.

I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony.

“ Truly I tell you, we speak what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony.

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you people do not accept our testimony.

Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we know, and bear witness of that which we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

“ I assure you: We speak what We know and We testify to what We have seen, but you do not accept Our testimony.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don’t receive our witness.

So Jesus replied,“ My teaching is not from me, but from the one who sent me.

No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.

I am telling you the things I have seen while with the Father; as for you, practice the things you have heard from the Father!”

For I have not spoken from my own authority, but the Father himself who sent me has commanded me what I should say and what I should speak.

I spread out my hands all day long to my rebellious people, who lived in a way that is morally unacceptable, and who did what they desired.

Then Jesus said,“ When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing on my own initiative, but I speak just what the Father taught me.And the one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, because I always do those things that please him.”

Jesus answered,“ Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I am going. But you people do not know where I came from or where I am going.

among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

The person who does not love me does not obey my words. And the word you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

Who would have believed what we just heard? When was the LORD’s power revealed through him?

All things have been given to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.”

Why does no one challenge me when I come? Why does no one respond when I call? Is my hand too weak to deliver you? Do I lack the power to rescue you? Look, with a mere shout I can dry up the sea; I can turn streams into a desert, so the fish rot away and die from lack of water.

I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.

and from Jesus Christ– the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own blood

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“ To the angel of the church in Laodicea write the following:“ This is the solemn pronouncement of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the originator of God’s creation:

Although Jesus had performed so many miraculous signs before them, they still refused to believe in him,so that the word of Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled. He said,“ Lord, who has believed our message, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

“ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to you! How often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would have none of it!

No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven– the Son of Man.

“ If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.There is another who testifies about me, and I know the testimony he testifies about me is true.You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.( I do not accept human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)He was a lamp that was burning and shining, and you wanted to rejoice greatly for a short time in his light.“ But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete– the deeds I am now doing– testify about me that the Father has sent me.And the Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You people have never heard his voice nor seen his form at any time,nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.You study the scriptures thoroughly because you think in them you possess eternal life, and it is these same scriptures that testify about me,but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.

He came to what was his own, but his own people did not receive him.

Look, I made him a witness to nations, a ruler and commander of nations.”

He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful.For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for he does not give the Spirit sparingly.

and saw the Lord saying to me,‘ Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’

Jesus answered,“ I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

They set a day to meet with him, and they came to him where he was staying in even greater numbers. From morning until evening he explained things to them, testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus from both the law of Moses and the prophets.Some were convinced by what he said, but others refused to believe.So they began to leave, unable to agree among themselves, after Paul made one last statement:“ The Holy Spirit spoke rightly to your ancestors through the prophet Isaiahwhen he said,‘ Go to this people and say,“ You will keep on hearing, but will never understand, and you will keep on looking, but will never perceive.For the heart of this people has become dull, and their ears are hard of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.”’

All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.
