Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you people do not accept our testimony.

我切實語爾、吾人所知、吾人言之；吾人所見、吾人證之；而爾曹獨不納吾證。

Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

What I’m about to tell you is true. We speak about what we know. We are witnesses about what we have seen. But still you people do not accept what we say.

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.

I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony.

“ Truly I tell you, we speak what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony.

Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we know, and bear witness of that which we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

“ I assure you: We speak what We know and We testify to what We have seen, but you do not accept Our testimony.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

I tell you the solemn truth, we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.

Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don’t receive our witness.

So Jesus answered them and said,“ My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.

No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.

I speak of the things which I have seen with My Father; therefore you also do the things which you heard from your father.”

For I did not speak on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.

I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts,

So Jesus said,“ When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am, and I do nothing on My own, but I say these things as the Father instructed Me.And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.”

Jesus answered and said to them,“ Even if I am testifying about Myself, My testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

The one who does not love Me does not follow My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.”

Why was there no one when I came? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot redeem? Or do I have no power to rescue? Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke, I turn rivers into a wilderness; Their fish stink for lack of water, And die of thirst.

I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—

Jesus responded and said to him,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“ To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Origin of the creation of God, says this:

But though He had performed so many signs in their sight, they still were not believing in Him.This happened so that the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke would be fulfilled:“ Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.

No one has ascended into heaven, except He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man.

“ If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not true.There is another who testifies about Me, and I know that the testimony which He gives about Me is true.You have sent messengers to John, and he has testified to the truth.But the testimony I receive is not from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved.He was the lamp that was burning and shining, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.But the testimony I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish— the very works that I do— testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.And the Father who sent Me, He has testified about Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.Also you do not have His word remaining in you, because you do not believe Him whom He sent.You examine the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is those very Scriptures that testify about Me;and yet you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

He came to His own, and His own people did not accept Him.

Behold, I have made him a witness to the peoples, A leader and commander for the peoples.

What He has seen and heard, of this He testifies; and no one accepts His testimony.The one who has accepted His testimony has certified that God is true.For He whom God sent speaks the words of God; for He does not give the Spirit sparingly.

and I saw Him saying to me,‘ Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.’

Jesus answered,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

When they had set a day for Paul, people came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.Some were being persuaded by the things said by Paul, but others would not believe.And when they disagreed with one another, they began leaving after Paul said one parting statement:“ The Holy Spirit rightly spoke through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers,saying,‘ Go to this people and say,“ You will keep on hearing, and will not understand; And you will keep on seeing, and will not perceive;For the hearts of this people have become insensitive, And with their ears they hardly hear, And they have closed their eyes; Otherwise they might see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And I would heal them.” ’

All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.
