Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

What I’m about to tell you is true. We speak about what we know. We are witnesses about what we have seen. But still you people do not accept what we say.

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.

I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony.

Jesus answered,“ My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. (niv)

No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. (niv)

I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.” (niv)

For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. (niv)

So Jesus said,“ When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.” (niv)

Jesus answered,“ Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. (niv)

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (niv)

Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. (niv)

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? (niv)

“ All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” (niv)

When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst. (niv)

I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. (niv)

For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent.You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ (niv)
