Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

What I’m about to tell you is true. We speak about what we know. We are witnesses about what we have seen. But still you people do not accept what we say.

I assure you, we tell you what we know and have seen, and yet you won’t believe our testimony.

“ Truly I tell you, we speak what we know and we testify to what we have seen, but you do not accept our testimony.

Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you people do not accept our testimony.

Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we know, and bear witness of that which we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

“ I assure you: We speak what We know and We testify to what We have seen, but you do not accept Our testimony.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

I tell you the solemn truth, we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but you people do not accept our testimony.

Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don’t receive our witness.

So Jesus answered them,“ My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.

No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.

I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.”

For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment— what to say and what to speak.

I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices;

So Jesus said to them,“ When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”

Jesus answered,“ Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.

Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

Why, when I came, was there no man; why, when I called, was there no one to answer? Is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, by my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a desert; their fish stink for lack of water and die of thirst.

I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood

Jesus answered him,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“ And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write:‘ The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.

Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him,so that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:“ Lord, who has believed what he heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

“ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!

No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

If I alone bear witness about myself, my testimony is not true.There is another who bears witness about me, and I know that the testimony that he bears about me is true.You sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth.Not that the testimony that I receive is from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved.He was a burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen,and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent.You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.

Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples.

He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony.Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true.For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure.

and saw him saying to me,‘ Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’

Jesus answered,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.And some were convinced by what he said, but others disbelieved.And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement:“ The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet:“‘ Go to this people, and say,“ You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’

All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
